Moving house? It only takes about 10 minutes to complete an online request to move existing services – or connect new ones - for Broadband, Home Phone and Foxtel from Telstra.

 

Existing customers

Only need to move your home phone? Standard connection charges vary depending on whether your new home has an existing Telstra phone line and whether a technician is required.

  • $59: your new home has an existing Telstra phone line connection and a technician is not required.
  • $125 your new home has an existing Telstra phone line connection and a technician visit is required.
  • $299 your new home either has an existing phone line connection from a service provider other than Telstra or one does not exist.

Discounts are available to valid pension card holders.

foxtel

A Foxtel technician is required to set up your Foxtel connection at your new address. Remember to take all your Foxtel equipment with you when you move.

Foxtel moving charges

  • $100 transfer of address primary outlet (technician visit to move all existing equipment to a new address).
  • $100 transfer of address with existing multiroom (total fee is $100 when relocating all existing multiroom like for like, regardless of work required by technician to install).
  • $100 transfer of address and install new or upgrade multiroom (STD & iQ boxes only).
  • $175 transfer of address and install new or upgrade to iQ2/MyStar2.
  • $300 transfer of address and install new or upgrade to iQ3.
