How do I activate my TTV?

If you have a Telstra ID account, the device will automatically recognise this and ask you to continue activation using this Telstra ID account. Simply click “Get started”.

 

If your Telstra TV device didn’t recognise your Telstra ID or if you want to activate your Telstra TV device under another Telstra ID account, you can select “Manually activate” and follow the steps below:

  1. Open the URL www.telstra.com/linktv on your computer, tablet or smartphone
  2. Enter in the activation code you see on your TV screen
  3. Once the code matches, enter in your Telstra ID username and password
  4. If your Telstra TV has a tuner, select My antenna is connected
  5. If your Telstra TV doesn’t have a tuner or you haven’t connected it select Skip for now.

 

If you do not have a Telstra ID, select “Manually activate” and follow the steps below:

  1. Open the URL www.telstra.com/linktv on your computer, tablet or smartphone
  2. Enter in the activation code you see on your TV screen
  3. Once the code matches, a screen will appear for you to login with your Telstra ID. Click on the “Register Now” button
  4. Enter in your details to create your Telstra ID. You will need your 13-digit billing account number (which can be found on your bill) or your mobile number.
  5. Once complete, you will receive an email to confirm your email address
  6. Open the email to confirm your email address and complete your Telstra ID registration
  7. You will be taken back to the Telstra
  8. If your Telstra TV has a tuner, select My antenna is connected
  9. If your Telstra TV doesn’t have a tuner or you haven’t connected it select Skip for now.

 

Will I be charged if I activate my Telstra TV?

No, there’s no additional cost to activate your Telstra TV.
