To control your TV power, volume and input selection you need to pair your Fetch remote with your Fetch device.

Go to Remote & Bluetooth in the Fetch Settings.

Once your remote is paired with your TV, to control the TV’s power:

    1. Press 123… on the remote. This will light up the TV (power) button
    2. Press the power button. If there is no light when you press it, you won't be able to turn on or off your TV.

You can also choose which device’s volume is controlled by the Fetch remote. Go to Audio & Visual in the Fetch Settings, and in the Audio section scroll to Set which device’s volume you want to control. Select either Set to Fetch or Set to TV.

Use the volume buttons on the Fetch remote to control the volume on your TV or your Fetch box, depending on the option you chose in the Audio & Visual settings. If you have the latest Fetch Mini, you can also setup your Fetch box to automatically turn on or off your TV when you turn on or off your Fetch box.

Have your Parental PIN ready as you may need it to change your settings. If you can't find your PIN, you can reset it in the My Telstra app.

For more information, see I've forgotten my Parental PIN, how can I reset it?

To use a Fetch remote to control both your Fetch box and TV at the same time:

    1. Press Menu on your Fetch remote
    2. On the Fetch main menu, choose Settings and select Audio & Visual
    3. Go to Advanced, then TV Control and select the check box.

If you still experience issues, your TV may not be compatible with TV control.

To turn off TV control, follow the previous steps and deselect the check box.

Once you’ve turned on TV control, your TV should automatically turn on or off when you press the power button on the Fetch remote.

If you’re having issues with your remote control, refer to How do I use or troubleshoot the Fetch remote?

To use your mobile or tablet like a remote control for your Fetch box, download the Fetch Mobi app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

When you open the app, you'll be prompted to sign in using your Fetch ID / Activation Code and PIN.

You can register up to three mobile devices at any time and the number of devices you can watch on varies depending on what you are watching.
