Download
To download the My Telstra app, open the App Store (for Apple users) or Google Play (for Android users). Search for My Telstra and select install.

Sign in
Use your Telstra ID to sign in. If you don’t have one, you can create your Telstra ID. Not sure what your Telstra ID is?

Frequently asked questions
Widgets are an extension of an app. They can be added to your phone’s home screen as a quick way to access certain information from the app at a glance, without having to open the app itself. You can now add the My Telstra app widget to your home screen.
Apple users
To set up the widget:
- On the home screen, swipe left to open the iOS widget screen
- Select the edit button
- Select Customise
- Select the + button then select Done
- Tap inside the blank widget to customise and select your service.
To manage the widget:
- Swipe left to open up the widget menu
- Find the My Telstra app and select Change Service
- Select the service to display.
Android users
To set up the widget:
- Tap and hold the app icon until a menu pops up
- Select Widgets then tap and hold the widget.
- You’ll now be able to place in on your home screen.
To manage the widget:
To manage your widget, you’ll need to remove it first before setting it up again with a different service.
Yes, you can. Sign in to your My Telstra in a browser with your Telstra ID.
If it’s the first time you’re setting it up:
- Select Add an Account
- Fill in your details then select Continue
- If you enter your mobile number, we’ll send you an SMS with a 6-digit one-time code
- When prompted, enter your one-time code to complete registering your new account.
If you’re adding another service:
- Select Services from the menu at the top of the page
- Scroll down to Can’t see one of your services? Help
- Enter the requested details and follow the remaining prompts to add the service to your account.
We’ve moved your online accounts into one place so they’re easier to find and manage. So when you sign in, you'll see all your accounts together.
If you don’t recognise a service listed, call us or find a store as soon as possible.
To sign out of the My Telstra app:
- Go to Profile
- Select Switch or sign out.
To turn push notifications on or off in My Telstra:
- Go to Profile
- Scroll down to More actions and select App settings
- Select Push notifications
- Select Manage in device settings
- Select Notifications and turn Allow Notifications on or off.
To update your marketing preferences in My Telstra:
- Go to Profile
- Scroll to Account settings and select Marketing preferences
- Select Manage preferences
- Choose your preferred marketing notification preferences.
