I forgot my Telstra Mail password and username, how do I reset them?

    How do I reset my email password?

    If you’ve forgotten your email password you can’t recover it, you’ll need to reset it.

    To reset your password online using the link, you’ll need the following information:

    • Your username (may end in @bigpond.com or @telstra.com)
    • Your date of birth
    • Access to the email address or contact mobile number you’ve registered with us so we can send you a one-time code.

    How do I change my email password?

    If you know your current email password, you can change it in My Telstra:

    1. Go to Profile
    2. Select Manage mailboxes
    3. Scroll to the correct mailbox
    4. Select Manage and choose Change password
    5. Follow the prompts and Save.

    How do I recover my email username?

    The username for your Telstra Mail account is your email address. It may end in @bigpond.com or @telstra.com.

    There are two ways to recover your Telstra email username:

    To recover your Telstra email username in My Telstra:

    1. Go to Profile
    2. Select Manage mailboxes
    3. Your mailboxes will be listed, your username is the mailbox address shown.

    You can also View closed mailboxes and reopen a closed mailbox.
     

    Alternatively, you can recover your username online using a link, you’ll need one of the following:

    • Your email address
    • Your Telstra phone number
    • Your Telstra account number.

    How do I view my mailboxes in My Telstra?

    You can view, open or close your mailboxes in My Telstra:

    1. Go to Profile 
    2. Select Manage mailboxes
    3. Your mailboxes will be listed
      • You can select Manage to close a mailbox, or
      • Select View closed mailboxes to view or reopen a closed mailbox.

    What if I can't I see my Telstra mailboxes in My Telstra?

    Your Telstra Mail service may not be linked to your Telstra account. Complete the online form to Link your Telstra Mail Account.
