  • How to manage your Foxtel from Telstra subscription online

    Foxtel from Telstra customers who have an eligible subscription, now have the ability to manage many features of the service online via Telstra My Account. These features include:

    • Viewing Foxtel subscription and package information
    • Upgrading or adding Foxtel packages to your existing subscription
    • Swap channel packs of equal or greater value
    • Upgrade an existing set-top box
    • Information to setup the Foxtel app
    • Order Pay-Per-View content
    • View and reschedule Foxtel appointments
       

    How to view your Foxtel service details in My Account

    1. Log in to Telstra My Account
    2. Click on Foxtel from Telstra under the Plans & usage tab
    3. The Service Details section contains the following information: Telstra Account number, Foxtel Account number, contract dates and the registered address/service address


    How to view your Foxtel package information in My Account

    1. Log in to Telstra My Account
    2. Click on Foxtel from Telstra under the Plans & usage tab
    3. My Package section lists which channel packages and specialty channels are included in your subscription
    4. Set-Top Box & Accessories section displays which set-top boxes you have installed
    5. Pay-Per-View & Apps section is where you can purchase Pay-Per-View titles plus find out more about Foxtel apps, such as Foxtel Go and Foxtel Kids
       

    How to view your Foxtel service details and package information in Telstra 24x7® App

    1. Open the Telstra 24x7® App
    2. Log in using your Telstra ID
    3. From the dashboard, tap on the menu icon (top left)
    4. Select Usage in the menu
    5. Select Foxtel from the list of available services
    6. In Service Summary, you can view your plan details, channel pack, specialty channel and your set-top box
       

    How to upgrade your package or add channel packs in My Account

    If you have Foxtel from Telstra subscribed to an Essential or Entertainment package, you can manage your channel packs online.

    1. Log in to Telstra My Account
    2. Click on Foxtel from Telstra under the Plans & usage tab
    3. Within the My Package tab, click the Add channel pack link or plus symbol
    4. Add channel packs. Select one or more packages to add. The Next button will only display when a selection is made. Click Next
    5. Add specialty channels as an option. Choose from one or more speciality channels and click Next, otherwise click Skip
    6. Review & Confirm. Check the summary of your order, including a comparison of current monthly cost versus new monthly cost and click Confirm to submit order. Plus you can review any important information in the Things you should know section
    7. An ‘Order successful’ message will display and you will also receive an ‘Order summary’ email

    You won’t be able to upgrade your package or add channel packs online if you have:

    • Overdue bill – you will need to pay the overdue amount prior to making changes online
    • Pending order – if you have a pending order on your account, you will not be able to make changes online till the order is completed
    • Legacy package – if you have subscribed to one of the Foxtel from Telstra packages before 2010 please contact us on 131 999 for more information and assistance


    How to swap channel packages in My Account

    1. Log in to Telstra My Account.
    2. Click on Foxtel from Telstra under the Plans & usage tab
    3. Click Swap Package. Where a package can be swapped for another package of the same or more value per month, a Swap Package link will display
    4. Select channel package to swap. Choose from one of the available packages to swap. The Next button will only display when a selection is made. Click Next
    5. Review & Confirm. Review order details, new monthly charges and any important information in the Things you should know section
    6. Click Confirm to submit your order for processing
    7. An ‘Order successful’ message will display and you will also receive an ‘Order summary’ email

    Can you add a channel package at any time online?
    Yes, if you are eligible to make changes online, you can add a package to your Foxtel from Telstra subscription at any time.


    How a package change appears on your bill

    If you change your package in the middle of your billing cycle, your account will be adjusted accordingly and you will be charged the new rate from this date.


    Can you remove or downgrade my package online?

    No, if you would like to downgrade or remove a package from your Foxtel from Telstra subscription please call us on 131 999.


    Can you see what discounts are on your Foxtel from Telstra subscription online?

    No, discount information is not included in any new monthly calculations online. Refer to your Telstra bill to check what discounts are applicable to your Foxtel from Telstra subscription.


    How to upgrade your Foxtel from Telstra set top box
    For eligible Telstra customers, depending on where you live and the type of equipment involved, you may be able to install your set-top box yourself. A self-install kit will be sent to you and will arrive within three to five business days. Returning your old box is easy. We’ll send you a pre-paid letter so you can take your Foxtel equipment to Australia Post, who will send it back for you.

    To upgrade your set top box:

    1. Login to Telstra My Account
    2. Click Foxtel from Telstra under the Plans & usage tab
    3. Within the Set-Top Box & Accessories tab, the current set-top box is listed here. If a customer is eligible to upgrade their set-top box, an ‘upgrade’ link appears underneath it. Foxtel systems enforce eligibility rules based on customer location, connection type etc. Click Upgrade
    4. Add Set-Top Box. Choose from available set-top boxes. The Next button will only display when a selection is made. Click Next
    5. Review & Confirm. Check the summary of your order, including installation fees and any important information in the Things you should know section
    6. Click Confirm to submit your order for processing
    7. An ‘Order successful’ message will display and you will also receive an ‘Order summary’ email


    How long it takes to receive your new set top box Self-Install Kit

    A self-install Kit will be sent to you and will arrive within three to five business days.


    Can a technician install your set top box if you upgrade online?

    If you require a professional installation with a certified Foxtel technician, you will need to call us on 131 999. Standard charges will apply.


    How to check your set top box smart card number online
    If you are eligible to manage your package online, you can check your smart card number in one of two ways:

    1. Using Telstra My Account
      1. Login to Telstra MyAccount
      2. Click on Foxtel from Telstra under the Plans & usage tab
      3. Click on the Set-Top Box & Accessories tab. The smart card number is located under your set-top box name

    2. Using Telstra 24x7 mobile app
      1. Open the Telstra 24x7 app
      2. Login using your Telstra ID
      3. Tap on the menu icon (top left)
      4. Tap Usage in the menu
      5. Tap Foxtel in the list of available services
      6. In the Service Summary scroll to Your Set top box, the smart card number is located above your set top box


    How to order Pay-Per-View content

    For eligible Telstra customers, you can purchase a Pay-Per-View title using Telstra MyAccount.

    1. Login to Telstra MyAccount
    2. Click on Foxtel from Telstra under the Plans & usage tab
    3. Click on Pay-Per-View and Apps tab
    4. Click Browse & Order to access either Box Office movies, Main Event or Adults Only titles
    5. Click to expand available viewing times for each title.
    6. Click Order this Session
    7. Click Next. The Next button only displays when a selection is made
    8. Review order details, then click Confirm
    9. A confirmation message will display and an email notification will be sent to you with an order summary
       

    How to view and reschedule your Foxtel technician appointment

    1. Login to Telstra MyAccount
    2. Click on Foxtel from Telstra under the Plans & usage tab
    3. Any scheduled appointments will appear in the My Package tab
    4. On the Foxtel appointment, click Reschedule
    5. Select your preferred date and time for appointment
    6. Click Reschedule Appointment
    7. A confirmation message will display and a summary will be emailed to you
