International calling on Upfront Plans
When you want to make calls from Australia to overseas destinations, you'll use our international calling features.
Most Upfront Mobile and Upfront Home Phone Plans include 30 minutes of standard international calls from Australia each month. For more than 30 minutes, add an International Calling Pack for selected destinations. This pack can be added to personal or business mobile and home phone services. Please note: Some destinations are not included in International Calling Packs on Upfront Plans.
If you're a home phone service customer on the PSTN network: Calls to standard international numbers in all countries is included in your home phone services.

International Ultimate
Choose International Ultimate for $15 per month on your eligible home phone service and get:
- Unlimited calls to home phones in 35 countries.
- Unlimited calls to mobiles in 17 of these countries.
International Saver
Discounted call rates to 72 countries.
Choose International Saver for your home phone for $5 per month and receive discounted call rates to fixed lines and mobiles in 72 countries.

- Rates from as low as 1c per min plus 55c call connection fee.
International Plus
International Plus Calling Rates are our new standard international rates.
These prices are included on the Ultimate Voice and Internet Plans, but are not available to add-on to any old plans we no longer offer.

Make international calls to fixed and mobile numbers in up to 35 eligible destinations for $20 per month. Min cost $20/mth including the cost of a Fixed Bundle Plan or a Ultimate Business Voice Plan.

Add an International Calling Pack in My Telstra app
You can only manage your International Calling Pack in the My Telstra app or My Telstra in a browser. Please note: Your International Calling Pack can't be managed in-store or by calling.
How do I add an International Calling Pack to my plan?
To add an International Calling Pack to your plan:
- Sign into My Telstra and go to Services
- Select your service
- Select Extras
- Select International Calling Pack and follow the prompts.
Please note: Once you add an International Calling Pack, it will continue on a monthly basis and you will be charged each month until you cancel.
Things you need to know
Your International Calling Pack allowance can be used on voice calls to standard international numbers in selected destinations, whilst in Australia. Unused allowances expire monthly.
You can cancel your International Calling Pack at any time. If you cancel your International Calling Pack part way through your month, this will be removed immediately. You won’t get a pro-rata refund but you’ll continue to access your pack inclusions until the end of the month. If you do not cancel your pack, it will continue on a monthly basis and you will be charged each month until you cancel.
Once you have used the inclusions of your International Calling Pack, you will not be able to add additional packs and will need to wait until your plan inclusions reset on your monthly payment date.
International Ultimate and International Saver are:
- Only available to customers with a 13 digit account number and are not available on Telstra Voice Part.
- Not available with some offers.
- Not applicable to calls to international mobile roaming services.
- You can add/purchase an International Call Pack to your Upfront Internet plan.

Your Business International Calling Pack allowance can be used by existing Telstra customers whose account number contains ten or thirteen digits on voice calls to standard international numbers in selected destinations, whilst in Australia. Unused allowances expire monthly.
The Business International Calling Pack benefits will be extended to all of your voice services attached to your Business Internet plan. If the Business International Calling Pack is cancelled from the bundle plan it will also cease to apply to all additional voice line services on the same bundled account.
You can cancel your Business International Calling Pack at any time. If you cancel your Business International Calling Pack part way through your month, this will be removed immediately. If you do not cancel your pack, it will continue on a monthly basis and you will be charged each month until you cancel.
If you wish to make international calls outside of the destinations included in your Business International Calling Pack, you will be charged our standard international rates.
