How do I set up AutoPay for my Upfront Plans?

If you pay for your Upfront Plans via Telstra bill and want to automate your payments, you can set up AutoPay in the My Telstra app or My Telstra in a browser.

What is AutoPay?

AutoPay is a form of direct debit. AutoPay payments are made upfront, automatically each month, using your default credit card, debit card or bank account. You won't receive a bill, but we’ll send you a digital receipt once your payment has been processed.

Set up AutoPay in the My Telstra app

To set up AutoPay:

  • Sign into My Telstra and go to Payments,
  • On your service card, select Set up AutoPay and Continue
  • Choose your payment method and follow the prompts.

How does AutoPay work?

  2. Paying upfront

  3. We'll send you an AutoPay receipt

How will I pay for any subscriptions I have?

Any subscription services (gaming, streaming, sports, cybersecurity, etc.) will be charged through AutoPay as per your subscription renewal date, which may be different to your AutoPay payment date.
