The birthday girl blows out her candle, and Mia takes a group night portrait of the moment, capturing the birthday girl’s and the guests’ expressions. The birthday girl comes over to look, and seeing the incredible quality – the authentic hues of their skin, hair and clothes –
she says, “Wow! Mia, can you send me that?” Mia responds, “Sure!”
We then see Mia framing a selfie in a dark aquarium. She’s surrounded by colourful fish that have gathered, attracted by the device’s screen. A scuba diver swims in the background. Seeing the stunning night selfie with vivid color even in the low light, he cannot help but say
in an underwater voice, “Mia! Can you send me that?” SUBTITLE: “Mia! Can you send me that?”
Later that night at home, Mia is outside on her rooftop terrace, and she and her neighbour are looking at a magnificent moon. We see her friendly neighbour trying to look at the moon through her telescope. The neighbour looks over to see Mia taking a clear moon picture with
the 100x Space Zoom on her S23. The neighbour impressed by the quality asks “Mia! Can you send me that?”
Mia is then at a dimly lit beautiful restaurant framing up a shot of her friends getting engaged. We see a man down on one knee holding a box with a ring while proposing to his girlfriend, saying “Will you…”. Mia perfectly captures a stunning night portrait that pops against
the blurred background. As we travel through the phone, the man then looks at Mia knowing the quality of the S23 and finishes asking “...send me that?
We see a generic phone user eagerly step up to offer his camera, but the man replies “Not you. Mia.” Mia smiles back. The lights go dark and suddenly we’re in a large concert venue with pulsating stage lighting. SUPER: Capture the epic with Nightography.

Plan prices
Your plan and add-ons may change (including price and inclusions), or we may move you to a new plan (which may cost more). If you don't like a change, you can change your plan or cancel your plan or add-ons. When you cancel, your service will be disconnected immediately. We won't refund any money you've already paid, and you'll need to pay out any remaining devices, accessories or services in full when you cancel.
Telstra 5G
Telstra currently offers 5G in select areas and is progressively rolling it out to other areas. In non-5G coverage areas, you’ll automatically switch to our 4G or 3G. Check coverage map. Telstra will be switching off 3G on 31 August 2024. Before switch off, you can use handsets supporting 3G on 850MHz and 4G minimally on 700MHz and 1800MHz. See how to check your device for more information. After switch off you will still be able to access the Telstra Mobile Network provided your device is 4G voice enabled and 4G 700MHz compatible. Plan Speeds
Download speeds for your included data on the Basic Mobile plan are capped at 250Mbps on our 4G and 5G network (uncapped 4G & 5G download speeds within data allowance from 27 August 2024). Speeds may vary due to factors such as location, distance from the base station, local conditions, concurrent users, hardware and software configuration and download/upload destination. 4GX
The Telstra Mobile Network offers 4GX in all capital CBDs and selected suburban and regional areas and is progressively rolling out to more places. In other coverage areas around Australia, you’ll automatically switch to our fastest available 4G or 3G.
Typical download speeds in 4GX areas are 5 -300Mbps with category 16 devices, 5-200Mbps with category 11 devices, 5-150Mbps with category 9 devices, 2-100Mbps with category 6 devices, and 2-75Mbps with category 4 devices. Outside 4GX areas, you will switch to our fastest available 4G or 3G speeds. Speeds vary for reasons like location, distance from base stations, terrain, user numbers, hardware/software configuration, download source and upload destination.
Data plan is required. 4GX available in 4GX enabled areas.
Month-to-month plans
If you cancel your service, you will receive a pro rata refund for the remainder of your month. If you have any device, accessory or service add-ons attached to your plan, you will have to pay any remaining amount owing on your next bill.
Device Payment Contract
You must have an eligible Telstra Data Plan in order to have a Device Payment Contract. If you cancel your Device Payment Contract early, cancel your data plan during the device payment term or move to an ineligible data plan during the payment term, you’ll need to pay out your device, in full. Device discounts do not apply to cancelled Device Payment Contracts.
Talk, Text and Data
Calls to standard Australian numbers are at a pay-as-you-go rate of $1 per minute, charged in 1 minute blocks or part thereof. SMS/MMS to standard Australian numbers are charged at a pay-as-you-go rate of 25c for SMS and 55c for MMS per message sent, per recipient.
No excess data charges in Australia
Once you exceed your included data allowance, your speed will be capped at 1.5Mbps, and slowed further in busy periods. This means it is not suitable for HD video or high speed applications and means that some webpages, videos, social media content and files may take longer to load, but you can still stream video in standard definition, listen to music, browse the web and access social media, even if the experience is slower sometimes.
No Excess Data Charges – Existing Services
Any existing shareable services on your account with Extra Data will be automatically migrated to No Excess Data Charges when you take up this plan.
International Roaming
To use your service overseas, you can purchase an International Day Pass at $5 per day in New Zealand, or $10 per day in more than 70 eligible countries. Day Pass includes 200MB of data to use per day as well as unlimited talk and text. Usage expires daily based on AEST. If you go over your 200MB, we'll add an additional 500MB for $10 for use within 31 days. A Day Pass is triggered whenever a call is made or received, an SMS is sent or if any mobile data is used in an eligible country.
If you’re travelling to a country where our International Day Pass isn’t available, you can still use your device at pay-as-you-go rates.

Trade-In
Telstra Trade-In is managed by Assurant Services Australia Pty Ltd. To be eligible for Trade-In, you must be a Telstra consumer or small business customer aged 18+, with a post-paid service and have a device, tablet or smartwatch with us on an Upfront plan or with an existing 13-digit account number. Not available to customers with a ten-digit account number or Upgrade & Protect. Devices on Telstra Mobile Lease plans are ineligible. You may only trade in a device, tablet or smartwatch from Assurant’s list of eligible devices. The credit offer will vary depending on your device, tablet or smartwatch type, model and its working condition, and is subject to assessment. Credit applied by second bill, or to a nominated credit/debit card within 30 days for Upfront Mobile plans.
