Telstra IoT Connectivity Plans

Your Telstra IoT Connectivity Plan lets you connect devices over the Telstra mobile network, feeding data to your central business applications.  You also need an IoT/M2M approved device, which isn’t included in your plan or you may bring your own device or acquire one from us.

You may purchase an eligible device with this plan, payable over 24 monthly payments.

Refer to the plan cost table as set out on the previous page. All prices stated are inclusive of GST.  Volume discounts may also apply. Any applicable volume discounts will be applied automatically.

• Direct Debit is our preferred payment method, you can set it up anytime at telstra.com/directdebit
• Electronic payments – Free
• Payments made in person or by cheque – Extra $2.50 (some exemptions apply)
• Paperless bills are free. A paper bill can be issued for $2.20 per copy sent (some exemptions apply)

You will be automatically connected to the Telstra M2M Default Voice Plan. If you make a voice call to a standard Australian fixed or mobile number using the SIM card we provide with your service, you’ll be charged; 42.5¢ per 30 seconds (or part thereof) plus a call connection fee of 25¢. Voice and SMS services are unavailable on LPWAN Plans. Cost for a 2 minute standard fixed or mobile call within Australia - $1.95

Standard SMS in Australia is 25¢ per SMS. Other call, SMS and MMS charges can be found at telstra.com/customer-terms

You’re billed in advance for the minimum monthly charge, and in arrears for any usage not included in your plan.

When you start or change your plan part way through a billing period, your first bill will have part month charges.

Your plan is not activated with International Roaming. You can activate this by calling us on 13 20 00. Additional fees will apply.  For more information on International Roaming please refer to Our Customer Terms.

We will send SMS alerts directly to your Telstra IoT Data SIM device, when you reach 50%, 85% and 100% of your Monthly Data allowance. Please be aware that many IoT devices cannot receive SMS. You can set up email alerts to monitor your data usage by accessing Telstra’s Mobile Data Usage Meter, or view your data usage via My Account for Business 24/7 visit Telstra.com/business/myaccount
