Why does my Telstra TV say ‘Connection dropped’?

If you get the 'Connection dropped' message while you're setting up your Telstra TV, it means it has no internet connection.

    How can I fix a dropped connection?

    1. In the Telstra TV menu, open the settings
    2. Go to Network
    3. Then Check Connections
    4. If your connection is good, you will see an on-screen message telling you're your connection was successful.

    If you are still seeing internet connection problems, you can try to connect to a different network.

    1. In the Telstra TV menu, open the settings
    2. Go to Networks
    3. Then Set up connection
    4. Select the connection you want to connect to.

    If the above steps did not resolve your issue, perform a reset.

    What if my internet details are right but it still won’t connect?

    1. If you're trying to connect via Wi-Fi, your Telstra TV may not be getting a strong enough signal. Try these tips for improving your Wi-Fi signal
    2. Or you can try connecting your Telstra TV to your modem using an Ethernet cable.
