Ethernet Lite

All Ethernet Lite product variants based on nbnTM phased (or progressive) geographical rollout: including Business IP Ethernet Lite, Connect IP Ethernet Lite, BDSL, CIPT Ethernet Lite, Ethernet Lite, GBIP and Ethernet Lite used to connect into IPCOIN.

This is applicable for nbnTM Fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP), Fibre-to-the-building (FTTB) and Fibre-to-the-node (FTTN) technology solutions and not applicable for Hybrid-fibre-coaxial (HFC), Fixed wireless or satellite.

To help you prepare for the change, your service/s will be discontinued in stages.
A Cease sale means you will not be able to order any new services after:

Date  
12 May 2018
  • for any premises in an nbnTM rollout region whose standard cease sale commencement date occurred on or before 12 May 2018.
  • the standard cease sale commencement date for an nbnTM rollout region, if the relevant premises is in an nbnTM rollout region where that cease sale commencement date is after 12 May 2018.
  • however existing customers will still be able to make configuration, software and record changes to existing services for each of the affected services as further described in Required Measure 5(A).

Mandatory disconnection of services will commence from:

Date  
12 November 2018
  • if the relevant premises is in an nbnTM rollout region whose disconnection date falls on or before 12 November 2018;
  • or the earlier of
  • the standard disconnection date for the nbnTM rollout region, if the relevant premises is in an nbnTM rollout region whose disconnection date is after 12 November 2018; and
  • the Final Sunset Exit Date if a Final Sunset Exit is announced by Telstra in accordance with Required Measure 5(A).

Frame Relay

Frame Relay: including Frame Relay, Business IP Frame Relay, Connect IP Frame Relay, and Frame Relay used to connect into IPCOIN.

31 January 2018 Services will not be available for purchase by new customers.
30 June 2018 Services will not be available for purchase by existing Telstra customers who already receive the services as at that date.   • services will be disconnected in areas where the area’s rollout region disconnection date falls on or before 30 September 2019; or

By 2022 the final exit date for any services that have not been disconnected in accordance with the above will occur by 2022. We shall communicate the date in due course.

Megalink & DDS Fastway

Megalink, DDS Fastway: including Megalink Point To Point, Megalink Single Point Services, DDS Fastway nx64 kbit/s services.

CustomNet

CustomNet Spectrum: including CustomNet, Spectrum, PreSet conference.

A Cease sale means you will not be able to order any new Affected Services after:

Since 14 July 2016 a cease sale has been in place for new customers (who did not apply any services from Telstra at 14 July 2016).
15 October 2018 No moves, adds or changes may be made to the services, including that existing services will not be able to be relocated. However, existing customers with CustomNet Control will continue to be able to make configuration, software and record changes to services for each of the services (as further described in Required Measure 5(B)).
15 April 2019 Services will be disconnected.

ISDN

ISDN2, ISDN10/20/30: including ISDN2, ISDN2 Enhanced, ISDN10/20/30, ISDN Dual Node, ISDN Diverse Access, ISDN Backup, and Argent (including Argent Dedicated, Argent Connect, Argent TAS, Argent Dial).
