How can I receive my bills?
Paper bills incur a fee of $2.50 including GST. We get that sometimes you may prefer a paper bill, but to avoid a fee, you can switch to electronic billing.

Why are we charging a fee for paper bills?
As a technology company we encourage you to interact with us digitally. The best way to do that is through the My Telstra app, where you can manage your account, pay for your services, access support easily and much more.
You can continue to get a paper bill without charge if you:
- have a Telstra Pensioner Discount, an Australian Government Health Care card or Veteran’s Affairs concession,
- are receiving a Braille or Large Print Bill, or
- don’t have an email address and access to an active internet service.
If you think you should be exempt, chat now or explore other ways to contact us.
If you pay with AutoPay you'll receive a tax invoice after your payment. You'll get an SMS to let you know when your tax invoice is ready to view, download and print from the My Telstra app.
For all other payment methods you will receive a bill.

You can download bills, view invoices and make payments, under 'Payments' in My Telstra.
If you pay with AutoPay you won't receive a bill for your Telstra services.
You can view your upcoming payment dates in My Telstra and because you've signed up with AutoPay, you won't need to remember to make a payment – the AutoPay payment will occur on your monthly payment date, which is the same date each month.
Once your AutoPay payment is successful, you'll get an SMS with a link to download your digital receipt. You can also view past payments and receipts in My Telstra.
There are two bill types to choose from for Large Print Bills, Summary or Itemised.

You can choose how you view your bill, as a summary bill or itemised, by following these instructions:
- Sign in to My Telstra in a browser
- Go to Profile, then Account Settings
- Go to Personal details
- Scroll down to Billing address
- Go to Change delivery, then Bill type
- Select Summary or Itemised and Save.
