Device Security Essentials, powered by McAfee, is available to over 9 million Telstra consumer and small business mobile customers:

  • Free tool in the My Telstra app
  • Scans for viruses and unsafe apps
  • Protects your mobile from phishing attempts and other online threats.

Want to protect more devices? Our Device Security add-on lets you protect up to 10 devices with advanced tools like:

  • Identity monitoring

Cleaner Pipes helps stop threats before they reach you

Cleaner Pipes is a network level security initiative that blocks malicious sites and cyber threats to help protect you from scams and data theft before they reach your devices.

In 2024, we blocked on average:

  • 11 million scam calls and 15 million scam SMS every month
  • Tens of millions of malicious websites from loading
  • Tens of millions of suspicious BigPond emails monthly.

Scam Protect is your built-in scam shield

Telstra Scam Protect is a free feature automatically activated on Telstra mobile services:

  • Shows warning messages for suspicious calls
  • Detects fake numbers pretending to be local
  • Nothing to install and no need to configure settings.

Since launch, Scam Protect has flagged over 100 million scam calls. That's more than 80 suspicous calls every minute.
