Why sign in to pay?

We’ve changed how you can pay your bills online to ensure that all payments made with Telstra are safe and secure. Privacy and safety are an important priority for us and we want to do everything we can to protect you.

By signing in, your payments are made in a more secure way and your account is protected.

Make a payment in the My Telstra app

1. Sign in to My Telstra

2. Go to Payments

3. Select the account you want to make a payment for

4. Under Manage your bills, select Pay in advance.
 

Make a payment in My Telstra in a browser:

1. Sign in to My Telstra using your Telstra ID

2. Go to Payments

3. Select View details for the account you want to make a payment for

4. Under Manage bills and payments, select Pay in advance.

Other ways to pay

If you don’t feel comfortable signing in to pay your bill, we have other options available, you can:

  • Call 1300 369 666 and follow the prompts. You will need your Telstra account number before you call, and then pay by cheque, savings or debit account.
  • Pay by BPAY by using your Biller Code, and Bill Reference number, which can be found on your bill.
  • Set up Direct Debit and remove the need to pay manually every month.
  • Visit your local Telstra Store or Post office to make payments. Fees may apply.

Paying on behalf of someone else?

If you’re paying on behalf of someone else, you can:

  • Choose from the list of other ways to pay shown above, or
  • Get them to sign in, or they can provide you with authority to access their account. Check Can I give someone permission to access my account? to find out how
  • Use the BPAY options, using the Biller Code and Bill Reference number, found on the bill.
