    Is Telstra making changes?

    Yes. From 1 November 2018, we will be making some price changes to some business plans and some call features.

     

    What’s changing?

    Line Hunt: from 1 November 2018, PSTN Line Hunt is increasing from $6.00 per month to $6.50 per month.

    BusinessLine plans: from 1 November 2018, the Monthly Access charge for select BusinessLine plans will increase.

    Am I affected if I’m on a Fixed Voice Contract?

    If you have an agreement with us that includes set pricing for monthly access and voice calls, the changes to monthly access on those BusinessLine plans won't apply.

    However changes to call features such as Line Hunt and Telstra Voice (previously HomeLine) or Telstra Home Phone plans will apply.

     

    Why is Telstra making these changes?

    We understand that there is never a good time to make changes to our prices and we don’t make these decisions lightly however, we review our pricing from time to time and the proposed changes are a result of the increased cost of doing business.

    When will the price changes happen?

    All price changes take effect from 1 November 2018.

    How are we letting customers know about the changes?

    We are writing to impacted customers throughout September to notify them of the changes. We have also updated our website and brochures with new prices.

    How do I know what plan I’m on?

    Just check your most recent Telstra bill. The name of the plan will be listed against each service.

    Are there any benefits for combining more than one service with Telstra?

    Yes - you may want to consider our ADSL Business bundles or nbn Business bundles bundles that offer great, included value. You can change over to these at any time.

    I’m not happy with these new changes, what are my options if I don’t want to pay these new charges?
