    What is call forwarding?

    Call forwarding is a feature on your phone that allows your to forward or redirect incoming calls to a number of your choice.

    Call Forward Immediate: any calls made to your primary office phone are immediately redirected to a number of your choice.

    Call Forward Busy: if your phone line is busy when someone calls, they’ll be immediately forwarded to another number of your choice.

    Call Forward No Answer: if there’s no one to answer your phone, they’ll be sent to another number of your choice. The default ‘no answer’ delay is 20 seconds, or about seven rings. But you can set any delay you want from five to 55 seconds.

     

    How to use Call Forward Immediate

    To switch on:

    1. Dial * 2 1
    2. Enter the phone number you want to forward calls to, followed by #

    To switch off:

    1. Dial # 2 1 #

     

    How to use Call Forward Busy

    To switch on:

    1. Dial * 2 4
    2. Enter the phone number you want to forward calls to, followed by #

    To switch off:

    1. Dial # 2 4 #

    To check if call forward is on or off:

    1. Dial * # 2 4 #
    2. Listen for the announcement.

     

    How to use Call Forward No Answer

    To switch on:

    1. Dial * 6 1
    2. Enter the phone number you want to forward calls to when there’s no one to answer your phone, followed by #

    To switch off:

    1. Dial # 6 1 #

    To check if call forward no answer is on or off:

    1. Dial *# 6 1 #
    2. Listen for the announcement.

     

    How to change the delay before calls are forwarded

    To switch on:

    1. Dial * 6 1
    2. Enter the phone number you want to forward calls to when there’s no one to answer your phone, followed by #

     

    How to forward calls to MessageBank®

    If you have MessageBank set up on your office phone, callers will automatically be forwarded to your MessageBank after six rings. You can change the delay before calls are forwarded.

    You can use any of the call forwarding features mentioned above by entering your mailbox number where you would enter a phone number.

    You’ll be given your mailbox number when you set up MessageBank. Otherwise, you’ll find it on your bill next to the service.
