This $39 Telstra Pre-Paid SIM Kit is a complimentary gift with your purchase of a fixed internet service with a new modem. This is part of a limited time promotion running until 18 April 2025. The SIM can be activated and used in the same way as if you had purchased it.

If you don’t want the SIM, you can gift it to a friend or donate it. You can also recycle it in-store at any Telstra location.

No, this SIM has been pre-loaded with a $39 recharge credit.

Once the $39 credit has been used, or the expiration date has been reached, the offer will have been fulfilled. You will need to recharge the SIM at your own cost to continue using it afterwards.

When you use up any part of the plan features or inclusions, you’ll need to recharge again at your own expense to top these up. 

For instance, if you use all the included core data (15GB) as well as the bonus activation data (25GB), you will no longer be able to access the internet via mobile data. You’ll need to recharge your plan or choose another denomination to recharge to gain more data.

You can also purchase extra data or other packs. 

No, the $39 value of this SIM Kit cannot be transferred to an existing service – activating it will create a new Pre-Paid service on your account.

You can gift or donate the SIM Kit to someone if you do not wish to create a new Pre-Paid service on your own account.

Yes, each SIM Kit has a set expiry date. To find yours, check the back of your SIM Kit and it will be located under the serial code.

Yes, you can. During the activation process through My Telstra, you’ll be asked if you wish to keep your old number – simply follow the prompts.
