Telstra Pre-Paid is our mobile service with included calls, texts and data with each recharge. You can switch between eligible Pre-Paid plans if your needs change, like if you want more data or your plan to last longer. 

When you're running low on credit, all you need to do is recharge. 

You can recharge in 4 easy ways:

  1. Auto recharge: Automatically recharge in a few quick taps.
  2. My Telstra app: Recharge anytime you're online, instantly. 
  3. Redeem Telstra plus points: Use your points to earn and recharge.
  4. SMS and phone call: Great if you don't have internet access.

Make it automatic with auto recharge

If remembering to recharge keeps dropping off your life admin list, you can easily set and forget with auto recharge. When your credit runs out, we’ll automatically top it up.

How to set up auto recharge

  1. Sign in to the My Telstra app.
  2. Go to the Services tab and choose the Pre-Paid service you’d like to set up for auto recharge. The recharge must be active. 
  3. Tap More with your mobile then choose Auto recharge.
  4. Follow the prompts to complete your setup.

My Telstra app

You can easily manage your Telstra Pre-Paid service and recharge in the My Telstra app. It’s your hub for all things Telstra, which means you can also check your balance, track your usage and even check out the latest offers.

How to top up in the My Telstra app

  1. Sign in to the My Telstra app.
  2. Go to the Services tab and select your active Pre-Paid service.
  3. Tap Recharge and choose your recharge amount.
  4. Follow the prompts to complete your payment.

If you're a Telstra Plus member, you can earn and redeem points on future Pre-Paid recharges.

SMS and phone call recharge 

If you don’t have internet access but still need to recharge:

  • SMS 'balance' to 125 100 to check how much credit you have left.
  • Recharge by sending a free SMS with your 12-digit recharge voucher PIN to 125 100.
  • Can also freecall 125 100 to recharge.
