You can pay from your cheque, savings or credit card account using our Direct Debit options. There is no processing fee for credit card payments made via automatic Direct Debit.
You’ll need 2 things:
- Your BPAY® reference number. This is your account number: it’s at the bottom of page one of your bill;
- Telstra’s BPAY® Biller Code (23796). It’s also on your Telstra bill and Telstra 24x7 My Account
To set up BPAY, login to your bank or credit union’s website, choose the option for BPAY and follow the prompts. Or call your bank or credit union direct.
Pay your bill with PayPal using your desktop or mobile device. There is no processing fee for credit card payments made via PayPal.
Pay in person at any Telstra Store using cash, cheque, debit card or credit card. A processing fee applies for debit and credit card payments. A fee of $1.00 (Inc. GST) also applies for bill payments made in person. Some exemptions may apply.
Pay in person at any post office using cash or cheque. A fee of $1.00 (Inc. GST) applies for bill payments made in person. Some exemptions may apply.

Over the phone
Pay by phone from your cheque, debit or credit card account by calling 1300 369 666. A processing fee applies for debit and credit card payments.
*To avoid a late payment fee, we need to receive your payment by the due date on your bill. Please check with your financial institution or payment service provider if you think there may be payment processing times that will affect when we receive your payment.
