Add an International Calling Pack

When you want to make calls from Australia to overseas destinations, you'll use our international calling features.

    Many of our Upfront mobile and home phone plans include 30 minutes per month of standard international calls from Australia to all countries. If you need more time, you can add an International Calling Pack.

    To add an International Calling Pack:

    1. Sign into My Telstra and go to Services
    2. Select your service
    3. Select Extras
    4. Select International Calling Pack and follow the prompts.

    International Calling Packs can only be managed through My Telstra.

    Important

    If you don’t cancel your pack, it will continue on a monthly basis and you’ll be charged each month until you cancel.

    Frequently asked questions

    Calls to standard international numbers in all countries are included in PTSN network home phone services.

    Your International Calling Pack allowance can be used on voice calls to standard international numbers in selected destinations, whilst in Australia. Unused allowances expire monthly.

    You can cancel your International Calling Pack at any time. If you cancel your International Calling Pack part way through your month, this will be removed immediately. You won’t get a pro-rata refund but you’ll continue to access your pack inclusions until the end of the month. If you do not cancel your pack, it will continue on a monthly basis and you will be charged each month until you cancel.

    Once you have used the inclusions of your International Calling Pack, you will not be able to add additional packs and will need to wait until your plan inclusions reset on your monthly payment date.

    International Ultimate and International Saver are:

    1. Only available to customers with a 13 digit account number and are not available on Telstra Voice Part.
    2. Not available with some offers.
    3. Not applicable to calls to international mobile roaming services.
    4. You can add/purchase an International Call Pack to your Upfront Internet plan.

    Your Business International Calling Pack allowance can be used by existing Telstra customers whose account number contains ten or thirteen digits on voice calls to standard international numbers in selected destinations, whilst in Australia. Unused allowances expire monthly.

    The Business International Calling Pack benefits will be extended to all of your voice services attached to your Business Internet plan. If the Business International Calling Pack is cancelled from the bundle plan it will also cease to apply to all additional voice line services on the same bundled account.

    You can cancel your Business International Calling Pack at any time. If you cancel your Business International Calling Pack part way through your month, this will be removed immediately. If you do not cancel your pack, it will continue on a monthly basis and you will be charged each month until you cancel.

    If you wish to make international calls outside of the destinations included in your Business International Calling Pack, you will be charged our standard international rates.
