Register your flight with SmartDelay when you plan your next international trip. If your flight is delayed by more than 60 minutes, you and up to four of your travel companions can enjoy free access to select airport lounges once per calendar year.

Only one promotional code is available to each Telstra Plus Gold tier member per calendar year, regardless of whether that code is used to register a flight or whether your flight is delayed.
Once a promotional code is retrieved from your Telstra Plus account, you will have 6 months to use it to register a flight.

Each promotional code can be used to register the main traveller plus 4 additional travel companions that are on the same journey.
SmartDelay is only applicable for flight delays over 60 minutes, based on the flight tracking system of Collinson Insurance Services Limited. Lounge passes are not available where flights are cancelled or rescheduled to 24 hours after the flight's scheduled departure time (which will be handled by the airline directly via their own compensation process). Lounge passes are provided on a non-transferable, non-refundable and non-changeable basis.
Flight delays caused by events outside the airline’s control (such as extreme weather or air traffic control issues) may not qualify.
In the event of an eligible delay, the main traveller will receive their lounge voucher via email and SMS along with the lounge vouchers for each registered travel companion.
SmartDelay lounge vouchers are not valid at all airport lounges; check the SmartDelay partner list for participating venues.
Access to airport lounges is subject to availability and lounge operator terms and conditions.
In the event that a lounge is not available, you may still benefit from special dining offers at selected cafes and restaurants, subject to relevant terms and conditions.
Once issued to a passenger, each lounge voucher will be valid for 24 hours.

Who is eligible for Telstra SmartDelay offer?
SmartDelay is provided to Telstra Plus Gold tier members flying overseas. The benefit is available to the main passenger and up to four additional passengers on the same journey.
