Accessibility and Disability

Championing Accessibility for all

Our priority is to ensure that the way we operate is accessible and People with Disability can thrive in their career with Telstra.

Our mission is to create an accessible workplace where People with Disability can do their best work and feel that they belong. We’ve worked with employees with disability to develop our Accessibility and Inclusion Action Plan (PDF, 5.50 MB) which sets out our strategy to becoming a barrier-free workplace.

We’re also proudly accredited as a Disability Confident Recruiter with the Australian Disability Network. Candidates with disability are supported through the recruitment process and those who are shortlisted for a role are guaranteed an interview.

We’ll support you through the recruitment process

We can work with you throughout the entire recruitment process to help navigate our website, search for jobs, submit applications or make adjustments to get you interview-ready.

Email us at DisabilityandAccessibility@team.telstra.com, noting your preferred method of contact (can be via your Disability Employment Services provider).

TelstrAbility

After joining Telstra, you’ll be able to find further support through TelstrAbility. TelstrAbility is our Accessibility and Disability Employee Representative Group. The community provides a safe space for employees with disability and their allies to connect, share resources and represent the employee voice in Telstra’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy.

What will your 'why' be?

Whether it’s rewarding career opportunities, an amazing work-life balance or being able to make a difference, you can discover why Telstra is a great place to work.
