Enterprise Mobiles Change of Ownership
Enterprise Mobiles Change of Ownership
Use this form if the transfer involves:
- A Telstra mobile service/s and
- An account-managed Enterprise or Government entity (as either a current or future owner of a mobile service/s).
Note:
- If you're transferring a non-mobile product or a combination of products, complete this form.
- If the transfer does not involve a Government or Enterprise entity, go to Consumer & Small Business.
- If you're transferring a service to Telstra from another provider, see Port-In.
Transferring Telstra Upfront plans
If the service you're transferring is on a Telstra Upfront plan, be aware that:
- Any device repayments associated with an Upfront plan cannot be transferred to a new owner.
- Any remaining payments will become an Early Termination Charge to the current account owner and will appear on a ‘pay it later’ invoice.
You can check details of the service in the My Telstra app, Telstra Connect or the Critical Information Summary provided to you when you signed up.

Enterprise Mobile CHOWN – Enterprise Mobile Change of Ownership (Consumer to Enterprise Business)
Starting a new job is exciting, and it's now easier to bring your mobile with you with Telstra's Enterprise Mobile Change of Ownership
Mobile Change of Ownership Checklist
- Contact your Authorised Telstra Rep
- Have your mobile service on hand
- Read the terms and conditions
As a first step, we recommend getting in touch with your company's Authorised Telstra Rep to let them know if you're planning to bring your mobile number with you when you join your new organisation.
We also recommend:
- Having your mobile service with you to receive the SMS one-time password sent as part of Telstra’s security verification
- Taking the time to read the Terms & Conditions
The request to Change Ownership can be initiated by either your company's Authorised Telstra Rep or yourself.
Consumer Initiated (heading)
If you choose to initiate the request as the current owner, you’ll need to complete the details required to authorise the transfer of ownership out of your name.
Start with selecting the option 'I want to transfer ownership of a mobile service to another Telstra account'.
Then confirm that the service is currently under the ownership of an 'Individual' customer and that the type of customer the service is moving to is an ‘Enterprise/ Government’.
After selecting to go to the e-form, you’ll need to provide your details as the current owner of your mobile service.
After completing the current owner details, you’ll need to complete the service details. Make sure you have your mobile service nearby as we'll send you an SMS one-time password as part of Telstra's security verification once you've provided your details
You can nominate a preferred day and time for Telstra to contact you.
You will then be asked to provide details of your company's Authorised Telstra Rep. Make sure you have discussed the change of ownership with them first to avoid any surprises or delays!
Once you've carefully read and accepted the T&Cs, step 1 is complete.
From here, your company's Authorised Telstra Rep will receive a request to complete their part of the Change of Ownership form. They will have 14 days to do this.
After they have completed their section, you will be contacted by Telstra from a private number on your selected date and time to finalise the transfer. Please ensure you have your transferring mobile service with you.
Telstra Authorised Rep Initiated (heading)
Alternatively, if your company's Authorised Telstra Rep initiates the request, they will need to complete the online form details.
Once they’ve completed their part of the Mobile Change of Ownership request, all parties will receive a email, and it will then be your turn to complete your part of the request.
