With MMS Picture and Video Messaging you can share your best moments with friends and family. Take a photo, shoot a short video or record some audio - then add some text and send.
You can send Picture and Video Messages to any MMS capable mobile phone in Australia, any email address worldwide and to selected international mobile destinations. And now with the Next G™ network coverage and exciting range of video mobiles, you can stay in touch in more places with a Picture or Video Message.

How do I get it?
All you need is an MMS capable Telstra mobile phone with a camera. View our great range of camera phones.
What does it cost?

How do I get set-up?
Usually your mobile will be set up when you buy it, so you can start sending straight away. We may send settings direct to your mobile - just follow the instructions to install and start messaging.
To check it's working you can send an MMS (for free) to 176MMS (176667) and we'll send you a Picture Message back. If you can view the Picture Message on your mobile then you are set up and ready to go.
If not, here are some ways to get set up:
- Online
To set up your MMS capable Telstra mobile online, go to the Mobile Phone Configurator and follow the instructions to get MMS Picture and Video Messaging set up on your mobile. - From your Telstra mobile
Call 125 130 free from your MMS capable Telstra mobile phone and follow the prompts to receive settings straight to your phone¹.
If you are still having problems with Picture or Video Messaging settings call Telstra Mobile Customer Service on 125 111 or 125 8880 if you are a Telstra Pre-Paid customer.
How do I use it?
It's easy. Just take a picture or short video using your camera phone and select Send (as MMS or multimedia). Add some text if you want, then add one or more mobile phone numbers or email addresses either directly or from your address book. Just choose 'Send' and you're done!
Sending overseas
You can share great moments with family and friends on selected overseas mobile networks. Just add +, the country code and the destination mobile number without the first zero eg. enter +86 2 59999999 to send to a Chinese mobile number 0259999999. Check this list of compatible international mobile networks.
Receiving
When you receive a Picture or Video Message it will appear in the same inbox as your text messages. Simply open it to view the message (on some mobiles you may need to scroll or play it to see the whole message).
If you get sent an MMS but don’t have a capable mobile phone we’ll notify you via text message. Follow the instructions in the message, go online to My Messages and enter your unique User ID and Password within 14 days. You can save any parts of the message that you want to keep.
