The Telstra Plus McDonald’s promotion gives eligible Telstra Plus members the chance to instantly win a McDonald’s prize voucher code or bonus Telstra Plus points through the My Telstra app.

Entry to this promotion is open to all Australian residents who are Telstra Account Owners or Full Authority customers, who have an active service, joined Telstra Plus and who are at least 18 years old. Participants must have the latest version of the My Telstra app installed to play.

Open the My Telstra app between 11am and 4pm AET, go to the Telstra Plus tab, tap the Telstra Plus McDonald's promotional banner and select Try your luck to enter.

The game is available between 11am and 4pm AET from 26 August 2026 to 18 October 2026. 

You can play once per week, from Monday to Sunday, during the promotion period. There is a maximum of eight entries per eligible member across the promotion period.

You have the chance to instantly win a McDonald’s prize voucher code for a Big Mac®, Cheeseburger or Large Fries, or either 250 or  500 bonus Telstra Plus points. Up to 1,000 prizes are available to be won each day during the promotion period.

Telstra Plus points are reward points you earn as a Telstra Plus member on eligible Telstra services and purchases. Members typically earn 10 points for every $1 of eligible spend. You can also earn bonus points through competitions like this McDonald’s promotion.

Prizes are allocated instantly by a computerised TPAL random draw system.

Your result is revealed immediately after you play in the My Telstra app. We will also send you an email to confirm your prize within 5 business days.

If you win, your McDonald’s prize voucher code or bonus Telstra Plus points will be displayed on screen in the My Telstra app. 

To redeem a McDonald’s prize, you’ll need to download the MyMacca’s app and have an active MyMacca’s account. Bonus Telstra Plus points will be added to your My Telstra account within 14 business days.

To redeem a McDonald's voucher code:

1.  Download or open the MyMacca's app.
2. Sign in or create an account.
3. Select 'Got a voucher' in the More menu and add your voucher code.
4. Follow the prompts in the app to redeem your prize.

You must redeem the voucher code in the MyMacca’s app and claim your deal in any participating McDonald's® restaurant in Australia. To find a participating restaurant near you, visit Locate Your Local McDonald's®.

McDonald’s prize vouchers expire on 18 January 2027. If a voucher isn’t redeemed by this date, it will be forfeited and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Yes. Eligible customers can join Telstra Plus and play in the My Telstra app. Once enrolled, it may take up to 5 days for the game to appear in the app.
