McDonald’s® promotion Terms and Conditions

By submitting an entry to this promotion, you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions. This promotion is being run by Telstra Limited (ABN 64 086 174 781) of 400 George St Sydney NSW 2000. ("we", “us” or “our”).

The promotion is open between 7am and 4pm AET daily, from 26 August 2026 to 18 October 2026 between 11am and 4pm. The McDonald’s prize and Telstra Plus bonus points allocation will be determined instantly by a computerised random draw system. Our decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.  Entrants who did not win will be notified instantly on screen. Winners will be notified instantly on screen, followed by an email confirming their prize within five business days. The prize (McDonald’s Big Mac®, Cheeseburger or Large Fries voucher, or 250 or 500 bonus Telstra Plus points) will be awarded on the winner’s My Telstra app account. Voucher expires on 18 January 2027. 

Entry to the promotion is open to all Australian residents who are Telstra Account Owners or Full Authority customers, who have an active service, joined Telstra Plus and who are 18 years of age or older. Excludes enterprise and corporate accounts. Telstra employees who work with the Telstra Plus program and their agents, contractors and other companies associated with the promotion and their immediate families are not eligible to enter. Latest app version required. McDonald’s promotion with Telstra Plus may take up to 5 days to appear in the My Telstra app.

To enter you must, during the promotion period:

• be a Telstra Plus member
• have an active Telstra account of which you are the Account Owner or Full Authority
• receive the offer via the My Telstra app
• enter via the My Telstra app to participate in the McDonald’s promotion
• enter once only per person (Account Owner or Full Authority) per week
• only join Telstra Plus once during the promotion period, if not already a member. 

Note that we may also disqualify entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions.

One entry per Telstra Plus member per week between Monday to Sunday, with a maximum of eight per member per promotion period, will have the chance to instantly win a McDonald’s prize voucher or bonus Telstra Plus points. The total prize pool consists of 842,016 instant win prizes.

The retail value of Telstra Plus points is not fixed and largely depends on the product redeemed using Telstra Plus points. However, as of 1 June 2025, the amounts and nominal values of the McDonald’s and Telstra Plus prizes are as follows:

• 22,400 Cheeseburgers valued at $117,600
• 22,400 Large Fries valued at $119,840
• 11,200 Big Macs valued at $92,960
• 100,016 x 500 Telstra Plus points at $110,018
• 686,000 x 250 Telstra Plus points at $377,300

Total prize pool is valued at $817,718 (incl. GST)

Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and are not redeemable for cash.

McDonald’s prize vouchers expire on 18 January 2027. If for any reason whatsoever a winner does not redeem a prize or an element of the prize by 18 January 2027 then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu.

If you are the winner, we may contact you about the promotion, and take photos of you, and use your comments and photos for promotional and marketing purposes.  If we do so, you grant us a royalty free, perpetual and irrevocable licence to use your comments and the photos for such purposes.

We may use and disclose the information you provide in submitting an entry on the terms and for the purposes set out in our Privacy Statement, and as required to conduct this promotion, which may include disclosing that information to prize suppliers. View Privacy Statement or call 13 22 00.

We reserve the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and address) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. 

If there is a dispute about the identity of an entrant, the entrant will be deemed to be forfeited. 

If for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we are not able to conduct the promotion as anticipated, we may, unless to do so would be prohibited by law, disqualify any entrant, or subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, cancel, suspend, modify or terminate the promotion.

To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any loss or damage or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the promotion including the prize or the taking of the prize. We accept no responsibility for any tax liabilities that may arise from winning the prize. 

We are not liable for any prize that may be lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way after it leaves us.
