How to connect an eSIM

Connecting to eSIM

Before you start:

  • Use the device you want to activate the eSIM on
  • Ensure the device is eSIM compatible
  • Connect to Wi-Fi

How to set up your eSIM

  1. Get the My Telstra app

    Download or update the My Telstra app on your device.

  2. Unlock your eSIM

    If you are opening the app for the first time:

    • Tap Unlock the benefits of eSIM and follow the prompts to purchase and activate.  

      If you already have other Telstra services:

    • Tap the Services tab, select Looking for something new? And then Pre-Paid plan on eSIM. 

  3. Activate

    Follow the prompts to purchase and activate.

Open the My Telstra app
