You can earn Telstra Plus points by purchasing Telstra Plus discounted movie tickets. You must sign in to Telstra Plus and follow the links to Event Cinemas, Village Cinemas or HOYTS and Independent cinemas. Points can’t be earned on food and beverage purchases, booking fees or surcharges.
Telstra Plus members can earn 10 points per $1 on payments towards Telstra Plus discounted movie tickets purchased online. Points are not earned on food and beverage purchases, booking fees or surcharges. Must sign in to Telstra Plus account and follow links to Event Cinemas, Village Cinemas or HOYTS and Independent cinemas.
Check the inbox, spam and bin folders of the email address you entered when ordering your tickets. You may also need to check other default folders that your email application may use. For example, ‘Promotions’ or ‘Social’ folders.
You may need to wait up to an hour after submitting your order for your tickets to appear in your email account. Your tickets will be emailed to you instantly, however delivery may be subject to your mail server and connection conditions.

Points are earned on the cash component of eligible products purchased outright or on a repayment option, and service purchases (excludes cancelled, refunded, or returned products or services). Points expire 3 years from earning. Marketing opt-in required (preferences can be changed). Excludes Telstra enterprise and corporate accounts.

A peak time surcharge of $3 per ticket applies at Event Cinemas, Greater Union, Birch Carroll & Coyle, Village Cinemas after 5pm on Saturdays and on public holidays. A surcharge of $5 per ticket also applies for HOYTS Xtremescreen. Other surcharges may apply for 3D, Dolby Atmos, Samsung Onyx sessions, recliners or daybeds. 3D glasses must be purchased separately at an additional cost.
