Finding your next meter read on your bill
You will find information about your next meter read on your bill under the Meter details section.
If you don’t have a smart meter, you may have a meter that needs a professional reading. Your next estimated meter reading is easy to find on your Telstra Energy bill. Under the Meter details on page two of your bill you will see “Your next meter read is expected on DD Mmm YYYY”. This is an estimate only, but will give you an idea of the expected date.
Avoiding an estimated bill
If you want to avoid an estimated reading for your gas or electricity, you will need to make sure the reader has clear access to your meter. This may include unlocking a gate, securing a dog, trimming some plants or even unlocking your locked meter box.
