Expiring Points
Everything you need to know about the expiry of your points and how to redeem them.
What are expiring points?
Any Telstra Plus points more than three year's old will expire after your four-year membership anniversary. Only unused points earned in your first membership year will expire at this time. From then, any unused points over three years’ old will expire on a yearly basis.
When will my points expire?
Your points will expire on the last day of the month of your membership anniversary. When you use your points, the oldest points will be used first to make sure you have as much time as possible to redeem that something special. We’ll notify you of when your points will expire and the number of points in the My Telstra app and when you sign in to Telstra Plus (address).
Why are my points expiring?
We want members to get the most value out of their points as soon as you can by redeeming in the Rewards Store or via your Telstra TV.
The Telstra Plus program expires points after three years, as stated in our Terms and conditions.
How do my points expire?
Your unused points will automatically expire if not used by the expiry date and will be removed from your points balance.
Using/redeeming your Telstra Plus points
You can use/redeem your Telstra Plus points for discounts on devices, accessories and more in our Rewards Store. If you don’t have enough points to redeem a product outright, we do have the option to purchase a range of items using points and pay.

Things you need to know
You must be over 18 and have an eligible service on a Telstra-branded business and/or consumer account to join. Excludes Telstra enterprise or corporate accounts. Points are earned on the cash component of eligible products purchased outright or on a repayment option, and service purchases (excludes cancelled, refunded, or returned products or services). Points expire 3 years from earning. Marketing opt-in required (preferences can be changed).
Movies
$11.50 child, $13.50 standard, $15.50 3D and $16.50 Vmax tickets only available online for Event Cinemas, Greater Union, Birch Carroll & Coyle, Village Cinemas and Moonlight Cinemas in Australia. $15.50 premium tickets at selected Village Cinemas. Ticket price includes booking fee and GST. A $3 surcharge applies after 5pm on Saturdays and on public holidays to child, standard, 3D and Vmax ticket types. Not valid for Boutique, Event Junior, V Junior movie marathons, special events and Alternate Content.
$14.50 Telstra Large Combo Upgrade only available online and excludes Moonlight Cinema. Maximum of 10 Telstra Large Combos per transaction.
Gold Class Thursday tickets only available on Thursdays and $3 surcharge applies on public holidays.

2022 NRL Sports Tickets
Specially priced tickets available to Telstra Plus members for Australian games. Not all games are included. Exclusions apply to marquee matches and regional matches. Price categories vary per club as do price type restrictions such as juniors or in conjunction with other promotions. Excludes any Ticket Vendor delivery and handling fees. Subject to availability to purchase online, until kick-off or unless our allocation sells out prior. Excludes Finals Series and Grand Final.

Telstra Plus members will earn 40 Telstra Plus points for every dollar spent on the paid component of Points + Pay purchases when they purchase a JBL Cinema SB120 2.0 channel soundbar.
40 points per dollar spent consists of 10 points per dollar of standard points earn, and 40 points per dollar of bonus points. The bonus points will be applied to your account within 14 days.
