It's better when you bundle - now you can add family to your plan
It’s been a while since we simplified our mobile plans. We listened to your feedback about bills that were hard to understand and ad-hoc usage charges that you didn’t recognise, so our simplified Upfront Mobile plans have no excess data charges and no lock-in contracts.
To make our plans even more convenient and affordable for families, you can now add up to five Bundle Plans to your account. Bundle Plans are available for those with at least one service on an Upfront Essential or Upfront Premium mobile plan – and each comes with its own SIM for you to connect an additional device. We think these Bundles Plans are perfect for your kids’ smartphones, tablet or for a mobile broadband hotspot.
Making it easier to get everyone in the family connected
Bundle Plans are a great way to get everyone in your household connected for less. We want to make it easy to add on extra plans you need and make it more rewarding. Our Essential and Premium mobile plans also now come with extra Telstra Plus benefits so you can get more from your mobile and rewards you for your loyalty and continued support.
With Telstra you’ll get no lock-in contacts and no excess data charges, and now you can also add extra services through bundles and on our Upfront plans, you can share your data between your devices. It’s all part of the changes we’re making for you.
Plan prices: Your plan and add-ons may change (including price and inclusions), or we may move you to a new plan (which may cost more). If you don't like a change, you can change your plan or cancel your plan or add-ons. When you cancel, your service will be disconnected immediately. We won't refund any money you've already paid, and you'll need to pay out any remaining devices, accessories or services in full when you cancel.
Telstra 5G: Telstra currently offers 5G in select areas and is progressively rolling it out to other areas. In non-5G coverage areas, you’ll automatically switch to our 4G or 3G. Check coverage at telstra.com/coverage.
4GX: The Telstra Mobile Network offers 4GX in all capital CBDs and selected suburban and regional areas and is progressively rolling out to more places. In other coverage areas around Australia, you’ll automatically switch to our fastest available 4G or 3G. Check coverage at telstra.com/coverage. Outside 4GX areas, you will switch to our fastest available 4G or 3G speeds. Speeds vary for reasons like location, distance from base stations, terrain, user numbers, hardware/software configuration, download source and upload destination.
No excess data charges: This plan comes with a data allowance to use in Australia. You won’t be charged if you go over your monthly data allowance. Instead, you can continue to access data up to speeds of 1.5Mbps. 1.5mbps isn’t suitable for HD video or high-speed applications, and means that some web pages, social media content and files may take longer to load). In addition, heavy data users (users in the top 1% of all data users) may experience slower speeds than other users during busy periods. The speeds you actually receive may vary depending on a range of factors including your device, location, number of users and download sources. Your data allowance is for personal use in a smartphone or tablet in Australia only and the FairPlay Policy applies.
Talk, text and data: Excludes calls, SMS and MMS to premium numbers, some satellite numbers, and use overseas.
Telstra Plus upgrade: You’re eligible for the Telstra Plus upgrade if you’re an existing Telstra Plus member or if you sign up to Telstra Plus and are on an Essential or Premium Mobile plan. Telstra Plus Tier Upgrade will be applied within 30 days and will apply for a year aligned to membership date. Once you reach the anniversary of the relevant membership year, we’ll let you know that this offer is ending and you’ll be moved to the relevant tier based on your previous year’s spend.
