Automatic language translation

We've introduced automatic language translation of our website into various languages using Google Translate.
Google Translate is a trademark of Google LLC. Google disclaims all warranties related to the translations, express or implied, including any warranties of accuracy, correctness, reliability, and any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and noninfringement.

What pages can be translated?

Automatic language translation is available on most of our pages when accessed on common internet browsers such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Internet Explorer.

How do I use automatic language translation?

If language translation is available on the page you’re browsing, the Language drop down menu will be displayed in the top right-hand corner. To translate the page:

  1. Go to the Language menu 
  2. Choose a language from the list.

Translations are generated automatically by Google Translate. While Google makes reasonable efforts to provide an accurate translation, no automated translation is perfect, and some nuances of language may be missed. Automatic translations should be used as a guide only as there may be discrepancies or differences created in a translation. The official version of our website is the English version. If you can't find the language you're looking for in the language menu, you can contact Telstra Multilingual Services for help. They offer a free translation and interpreter service.

Google Translate does not currently translate into any Australian First Nations languages. You can contact the First Nations Connect team on 1800 444 403 Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (around Australia).
