The Telstra Foundation
Telstra Foundation is Telstra’s philanthropic charity in Australia. Our vision is to drive social change through technology. We support community changemakers; the teams and organisations looking to make breakthroughs on social and environmental issues. We focus on building digital skills for young people and enabling community-led climate action with an emphasis on diverse, vulnerable, and disadvantaged communities.
Telstra Sponsorship Programs
Every day, Telstra helps millions of Australians connect to the people and things that matter most to them through our technology and networks.
That’s because we believe the more connected people are, the more opportunities they have to thrive. Our partnerships reflect and demonstrate our desire to create experiences to bring our customers closer to the things they love.
We have a strong history of partnership with some of Australia’s most celebrated sports and arts institutions including:
- The tribal sports of AFL, NRL, FFA and Netball
- The artistic beauty and creativity of The Australian Ballet, the Museum of Contemporary Art, the National Gallery of Victoria, the Australian Chamber Orchestra and the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Award (NATSIAA)
- The vibrant Australian music scene with ARIA, TEG and Dainty Consolidated Entertainment.
Corporate Social Responsibility
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a concept whereby organisations serve the interests of society by taking responsibility for the impact of their activities on customers, employees, shareholders, communities and the environment in all aspects of their operations.
Telstra is committed to operate in an economically, socially and environmentally sustainable manner, while recognizing the interests of its stakeholders. CSR is, therefore, closely linked with the practice of Sustainable Development. CSR extends beyond philanthropic activities and reaches out to the integration of social and business goals.
