How do I change my domain provider?

You can change your existing domain provider or transfer your domain.
Please note: We are no longer accepting domain registration orders for this product and the domains product will be exiting in December 2025.

How do I transfer my domain from Telstra to another provider?

To transfer your domain to another provider, follow these steps:

  1. Call 1800 878 483, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm AEST, to request your EPP code from the TAM team. You can also email TAM for support.
  2. Give your new domain provider the EPP code to begin the transfer process.

Once I transfer my domain to Telstra, will it be renewed automatically?

When your domain is hosted by Telstra, it will auto-renew either every 12 or 24 months. If your payment details change or expire, your domain will not auto-renew.
