Complimentary setup

Both Microsoft business app plans come with a complimentary activation service. You will receive an SMS within 72 hours of activation your My Business Mobile plan, followed by a phone call from a Telstra Partner to set you up with your OneDrive for Business or Office 365 Business plan and give you some tips on the best way to maximise the value of your apps. The activation service will take around 15 minutes, and you can request to reschedule your appointment at a time that best suits you.

What does the complimentary set-up call involve?
The set-up call will take around 15 minutes and perform the following tasks;

  1. Set you up with a Telstra Apps Marketplace account.
  2. Activate your OneDrive for Business plan or your Office 365 Business plan at no cost to you.
  3. Set your Office 365 Business plan up on so that you can access the app on your phone and any other eligible device you’d like to nominate to setup.

 

Why do I need to be set-up with a Telstra Apps Marketplace account?
The Telstra Apps Marketplace is Telstra’s destination for business apps. In order to access your Microsoft apps, you’ll need a log-in to the Telstra Apps Marketplace. It’s free, and it will give you access to manage your complimentary Microsoft apps, in addition to giving you access to a range of other business apps you may be interested in.

 

Who performs the complimentary set-up call?
The set-up call is conducted by an authorised Telstra Partner named Microland who are certified in Microsoft apps and set-up.

 

How long does the complimentary set-up call take?
It takes about 15 minutes, and you can choose to be called back at a time that suits you.

 

What happens after 24 months?
After 24 months, you will receive an email asking requesting that you opt-in to keep receiving your Microsoft service by moving to a paid plan of your choosing via the Telstra Apps Marketplace, or cancelling your plan with no early termination charges applicable.
