LSKD

2024 Telstra Best of Business Awards Business of the Year Winner

LSKD is an Australian-owned and operated fashion brand that prides itself on producing high-quality functional sportswear with a street aesthetic.

Led by Jason Daniel, the brand was born as a side hustle for Jason to make some extra cash to buy a BMX dirt bike at age 13. His fearlessness on the BMX track earned him the nickname ‘the Loose Kid’, which he started printing on caps, clothing, backpacks, and stickers to sell locally in Queensland to fund his biking passion.

LSKD (shorthand for Loose Kid), is now a multimillion-dollar enterprise, dominating functional activewear and off-duty style across the globe, proudly worn by celebrities and professional athletes from all industries.

With Jason at the helm, the brand prides itself on challenging the status quo, striving to be 1% better every day and constantly reassessing its purpose and ‘why’.

Taking out the major title of Business of the Year at the 2024 Telstra Best of Business Awards was a pinch me moment for Jason, who says the success the business is experiencing makes the 20-years of hustle worth it.

“Being able to share our LSKD mission, values, and our brand to the community while bringing this award back to our team is a special feeling.”

“We're just getting started - we’re about to open another 7 - 8 stores this year and have a lot of new products coming out with innovative fabrics, and are constantly improving our culture.”

“I just want to say a huge thank you to Telstra. It's so cool to see so many entrepreneurs in the room that are hustling every single day to create something really special.”
