The young daughter of a journalist disappears into the desert without a trace—eight years later, the broken family is shocked when she is returned to them, as what should be a joyful reunion turns into a living nightmare.
The film stars Jack Reynor, Laia Costa, May Calamawy, Natalie Grace, with Veronica Falcón. The film is written and directed by Cronin, and produced by James Wan, Jason Blum and John Keville. The executive producers are Michael Clear, Judson Scott, Macdara Kelleher and Lee Cronin.
Cronin is supported behind the camera by a team of sterling film artisans, including director of photography Dave Garbett, production designer Nick Bassett, editor Bryan Shaw, costume designer Joanna Eatwell, music by Stephen McKeon and casting by Terri Taylor and Sarah Domeier Lindo.
New Line Cinema, Atomic Monster and Blumhouse Present, A Wicked/Good Production, A Lee Cronin Film: LEE CRONIN’S THE MUMMY. The film will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, only in theaters and IMAX in North America on April 17, 2026, and internationally beginning 15 April 2026.

In order to gain access to a pre-sale, you will need to:
- Register for a Telstra ID
- Join Telstra Plus using your Telstra ID
- Visit Telstra Plus tickets page during pre-sale window and click “buy tickets”. If you’re not already signed in, you will need to sign in with the Telstra ID you used to join Telstra Plus.
- Select your event from the Telstra Plus Concerts, Sport, or Arts page and purchase tickets following the ticket agency process.
A pre-sale is an opportunity to secure tickets prior to the general public, not a preferential seating service.

No. You keep your place in line even if your phone goes to sleep or you minimise the queue page. When you go back to the queue page you will see updated progress. Keep an eye on your queue progress because when it's your turn you will have a limited window of time to enter the website. The only time you will lose your place is if you exit the window on your phone or computer.
When a queue is paused, no one will be redirected to the website, so everyone will be kept in the queue until it is resumed. The queue can be paused for business or technical reasons. When the queue resumes you will keep the same place in line.

Members will also earn points when purchasing discounted tickets. Eligibility criteria apply to join Telstra Plus.

A peak time surcharge of $3 per ticket applies at Event Cinemas, Greater Union, Birch Carroll & Coyle, Village Cinemas after 5pm on Saturdays and on public holidays. A surcharge of $5 per ticket also applies for HOYTS Xtremescreen. Other surcharges may apply for 3D, Dolby Atmos, Samsung Onyx sessions, recliners or daybeds. 3D glasses must be purchased separately at an additional cost.
Telstra Plus members earn 10 points per $1 on discounted movie tickets only. Excludes food, beverages, surcharges, credits and refunds.
