Telstra Plus Katy Perry Competition – Terms and Conditions

Entry to the promotion is open to all Australian residents who are Telstra customers, who have joined Telstra Plus, are Gold tier members and who are 18 years of age or older. Excludes enterprise and corporate accounts. Telstra employees who work with the Telstra Plus program and their agents, contractors and other companies associated with the promotion and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

To enter you must, during the promotion period have an active Telstra account and:

1. join Telstra Plus and gain Gold tier member status and enter via Telstra Plus by filling in all the details required on the entry form (mobile number and email address) and choose the location of the event that you would like the chance to win tickets for OR
2. be an existing Telstra Plus Gold member and enter via Telstra Plus by filling in all the details required on the entry form (mobile number and email address) and choose the location of the event that you would like the chance to win tickets for.

Only one entry per member will be accepted. Entries are accepted at the time of receipt by us.

Maximum of one prize awarded per member.

A customer may only join Telstra Plus once during the promotion period. If a customer leaves Telstra Plus and joins again during the promotion period, the membership will be ineligible to enter the promotion and deemed invalid to win a prize.

We may also disqualify entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions.

The prize pool consists of 60 prizes. Prizes will take place on the dates as set out below, with the number of prizes.

Major prize

Each major prize is available to 5 winners and will take place on 13 June 2025 in Melbourne.

• Katy Perry meet and greet x 2 (valued at $1,500 incl GST)
• VIP tickets x 2 (valued at up to $500 incl GST), including:
  • General admission standing tickets with early entry to the GA floor area
  • Choice of VIP-exclusive Katy Perry merchandise item from a selection of options x 2
  • Commemorative VIP laminate & lanyard x 2
  • Event priority including VIP check-in, red carpet entry, dedicated support staff and priority VIP venue entry lane (where supported by the venue)
• $5,000 (incl GST) e-gift card for travel and accommodation

Total major prize pool is valued at up to $35,000 (incl GST).

Minor prize

Each minor prize consists of VIP tickets x 2 and is available to 55 winners. The VIP tickets are valued at up to $500 and include:

• General admission standing tickets with early entry to the GA floor area
• Choice of VIP-exclusive Katy Perry merchandise item from a selection of options x 2
• Commemorative VIP laminate & lanyard x 2
• Event priority including VIP check-in, red carpet entry, dedicated support staff and priority VIP venue entry lane (where supported by the venue)

Prize type 2 has a total value of up to $30,000 (incl GST).

The total prize pool value is up to $65,000 (incl. GST).

Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and are not redeemable for cash.

Dates for the prizes are as set for each event as provided by the event promoter and changes to times and dates is at their discretion for the tour. Tickets to events cannot be amended or extended. Winners will be randomly allocated to an event at their preferred location. Winners who do not accept these dates of allocated prizes will forfeit their prize.

Tickets are subject to standard ticket terms and conditions and are subject to change. The terms and conditions which apply for the use of the tickets at the time they are issued to the winner will prevail over these terms and conditions to the extent of any inconsistency.

The major prize includes a $5,000 (inc GST) e-gift card that can be used towards flights and accommodation. Flights, accommodation, ground transfers or any other travel costs are not included in the minor prize. All other expenses become the responsibility of the winners.

All prizes from the advertised prize pool will be distributed through the current Telstra fulfilment process and winners email sent from Event Hub - workflow@eventhub.com.au.

Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason whatsoever a winner does not redeem a prize or an element of the prize by 10am AEST on 21 May 2025, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu.

If required, an unclaimed prize draw will take place on 22 May 2025, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. The draw will be attended by an independent scrutineer (if required) and will take place at 11am AEST at 2 York St, Sydney NSW 2000. Winners will be contacted via email within two business days of the draw. The winner’s last name, first initial and state (postcode for SA) will be published on Telstra Plus by 28 May 2025.

If you are the winner, we may contact you about the promotion, and take photos of you, and use your comments and photos for promotional and marketing purposes. If we do so, you grant us a royalty free, perpetual, and irrevocable licence to use your comments and the photos for such purposes.

We may use and disclose the information you provide in submitting an entry on the terms and for the purposes set out in our Privacy Statement, and as required to conduct this promotion, which may include disclosing that information to prize suppliers. View Privacy Statement or call 13 22 00.

If we are unable to provide a winner with a prize (or part of a prize), we will supply an alternative prize (or that part of the prize) of equal or greater monetary value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

We reserve the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and address) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process.

If for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we are not able to conduct the promotion as anticipated, we may, unless to do so would be prohibited by law, disqualify any entrant, or subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, cancel, suspend, modify or terminate the promotion.

To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any loss or damage or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the promotion including the prize or the taking of the prize. We accept no responsibility for any tax liabilities that may arise from winning the prize.

We are not liable for any prize that may be lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way after it leaves us.
