Telstra Big Boot Promotion - Terms and Conditions

Information on how to enter this promotion and prize details form part of these terms and conditions. By submitting an entry to this promotion, you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

This promotion is being run by Telstra Limited (ABN 64 086 174 78) of 400 George St Sydney NSW 2000. ("we", “us” or “our”).

The promotion starts at 9am AEST on Friday 14 August 2026 and ends at 11.59pm AEST on Sunday 13 September 2026 ("promotion period"). No entries will be accepted outside of the promotion period. 

Entry is open to all Australian residents, over the age of 18, other than our officers, employees or contractors, and other companies, associated with the promotion, and their immediate families. 

To enter the promotion, you must, during the promotion period:

1. Visit telstra.com/bigboot webpage;
2. complete online entry form, including giving your full name, postcode, phone number and email;
3. select your category for entry (Open, Over 55, Families, Mums or Mullets); and
4. upload a video of you kicking the footy to the online entry form so it is viewable for judging.

Eligible entry

Multiple entries are permitted, as long as each entry is submitted separately and in accordance with these terms and conditions. Entries are accepted at the time your video is uploaded.

By entering the promotion, you:

1. warrant that your entry is your own original work, does not contain any offensive or defamatory comments, breach any law and does not infringe any third party rights, including intellectual property rights;
2. grant us (and our related bodies corporate, agents, licensees and assigns) a royalty free, worldwide, perpetual, transferable and irrevocable licence to use, modify, adapt, publish and sublicense your entry anytime, anywhere and by any means without compensation; and

Entries that are incomplete, indecipherable or illegible will be deemed invalid. 

We may also disqualify entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions. 

This is a game of skill only and chance plays no part in determining the winners. The winner will be chosen based on the most creative video entries.

Judging will take place by 6pm AEST on Monday 14 September 2026.

Our decisions relating to this promotion (including the selection of winners) are final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

There are 5 major prizes and 5 minor prizes to be won.

1. The first prize includes (“major prize”):
   1. 2 x 2026 Toyota AFL Grand Final Tickets held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on 26 September 2026 valued at $1,030 (based on 2025 AFL Ticket pricing);
   2. 2 x 2026 NAB AFLW Grand Final Tickets (date TBC) valued at $70 (based on 2025 AFLW Ticket pricing);
   3. E-Gift Card valued at $10,000 to cover flights and accommodation to attend the 2026 Toyota AFL Grand Final and 2026 NAB AFL Grand Final;
   4. Exclusive on-field experience for 2 people to watch the Telstra AFL Half-Time Sprint valued at $1,000 regardless of where the winner is located;
   5. Exclusive on-field experience for 2 people to watch the Telstra AFLW Half-Time Sprint valued at $400;
2. There are 5 additional prizes of a Signed Guernsey valued at $229.00 each (“minor prize”).

The total prize value is $63,645 (incl. GST). 

You are only eligible to win one minor and one major prize. We reserve the right to withdraw or redistribute a prize if there are no eligible entrants in a category (or categories) to receive that prize.

By accepting a prize, you agree to participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable marketing activities relating to the prize. We reserve the right to use your comments, image and name for advertising and publicity purposes in any media in perpetuity without compensation.

A prize, or any unused portion of a prize, cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash. All other expenses associated with the prizes are the responsibility of the winners.

The major prize is valid for the 2026 Toyota AFL Grand Final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on 26 September 2026 and the 2026 NAB AFLW Grand Final. Dates for the major prize are as set for the event as provided by the event promoter and any changes to the times and dates is at their discretion.

Any tickets to events that form part of the major prize cannot be amended or extended. Winners who do not accept the dates of the allocated prizes will forfeit their prize. AFL Authorised GF Promotion: GFAFL26/122

Standard ticket terms and conditions apply for the use of the tickets forming part of the major prize and are subject to change. The standard terms and conditions which apply for the use of the tickets at the time they are issued to the winner will prevail over these terms and conditions to the extent of any inconsistency. 

There will be a maximum of 5 minor prizes selected throughout the promotional period.

The winners of the major and minor prizes will be notified by 6pm AEST Tuesday 15 September 2026.

Each winner of a major or minor prize will be notified by mobile phone (call or SMS) or via email. 

If we are unable to provide a winner with a prize (or part of a prize), we will supply an alternative prize (or part of a prize) of similar monetary value.

We reserve the right, at any time, and in our sole discretion, to:

1. request entrants to provide proof of identity and/or proof of valid entry (including an entrant’s identity, age and address); and
2. to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or engaged in any unlawful or other improper conduct or any conduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion.

If a prize has not been claimed by 6pm AEST Wednesday 16 September 2026 it will be distributed at our absolute discretion.

If you are a winner, we may contact you about the promotion and use your video entries for promotional and marketing purposes. If we do so, you grant us a royalty free, perpetual and irrevocable licence to use your video entry for such purposes.

If for any reason, we are not able to conduct the promotion as planned, including due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, any technical difficulties or any other causes beyond our control, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, we reserve the right in our sole discretion to take any action that may be available. We reserve the right to determine how the promotion is run and the selection of the winner, including, where necessary, modifying the promotion. We may, unless prohibited by law, disqualify any entrant, or subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, cancel, suspend, modify or terminate the promotion.

We exclude all warranties in relation to the quality, suitability or merchantability of a prize, except those that cannot be excluded by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability of the Promoter or its employees or agents for breach of any rights a consumer may have which are unable to be excluded under Australian law, is limited to the payment of the costs of having the prize supplied again.

To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any loss (including indirect and consequential loss) or damage or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the promotion including the supply of goods or services by any person to the prize winners, and where applicable to any persons accompanying the prize winners. We accept no responsibility for any tax liabilities that may arise from winning a prize. 

We are not liable for any prize that may be lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way after it leaves us.

By entering this promotion, you agree that we may use and disclose the personal information we collect from you:

1. to conduct this promotion, including determining, and notifying the winners, and disclosing that information to prize suppliers or any public announcements regarding the winners; and
2. for future marketing purposes in any media, including contacting you after this promotion ends,
