Pre-Paid eSIM
Connecting your eSIM
Ensure your device is eSIM compatible
- Locate your device settings and if available search for ‘esim’
- OR dial *#06# - an eSIM compatible device will display an EID number which is 32 digits long.
If your device does not show an EID, we cannot guarantee that an eSIM service will work on your device.
You can also check eSIM compatibility via manufacturer if you’re unsure:
STEP 1
Scan
Using your phone, scan the QR code to download the My Telstra app.
STEP 2
Unlock
Follow the prompts, you won’t need to sign in. Select Unlock the benefits of eSIM.
STEP 3
Select
Select the Pre-Paid plan option and you should see a message confirming your device is eSIM compatible.
STEP 4
Activate
Tap Get started and follow the prompts.
STEP 1
Scan
Using your phone, scan the QR code to open the My Telstra app and sign in if you haven’t already.
STEP 2
Activate
Tap Get started and follow the prompts.
