The latest film from iconic filmmaker Christopher Nolan (Interstellar, Dunkirk) is the dramatisation of the life story of American physicist, J. Robert Oppenheimer (played by Cillian Murphy), and his role in the development of the atomic bomb. During World War II, Oppenheimer and a team of scientists spend years developing and designing the atomic bomb in the top-secret Manhattan Project. Their work comes to fruition on July 16, 1945, as they witness the world's first nuclear explosion and forever change the course of history.
