GEORGI: My 20 year career with Telstra has been nothing less than awesome.
GEORGI: started in the Telstra shops as a Christmas casual loved people, so I worked there as a Sales Consultant. I then moved up into the Management team, so as Assistant Manager I moved into store management, then started leading the Icon stores and then moved my way up into Regional Manager.
GEORGI: I have naturally had challenges, but I have also learnt to overcome not only those challenges but also learn about a lot about myself and it's enabled me to grow as a person or witness in the safety of the same organisation.
GEORGI: One thing that is truly inspiring is to be part of an organisation like Telstra that has such a strong social conscience.
GEORGI: Year in and year out, we see our beautiful nation rocked by disaster. Yet every year or multiple times a year we have Telstra putting our hand up and saying 'How can we help? We're here. It'll be okay.'.
GEORGI: There's so many different personalities and diversities and cultures that all come into our organisation, yet we're all encouraged to be able to be authentic and to have a voice.
GEORGI: Telstra and large organisations have such a big part in that change that we can make.
GEORGI: So I'm going to continue to do that and I'm going to continue to raise my voice respectfully and be the change that I want to see.
