How can I add and manage domains with Telstra?

If you have a Microsoft 365 subscription, you can add and manage a domain via Telstra Apps Marketplace.

How do I get a domain with Telstra?

Domains can be added to Microsoft 365 subscriptions at Telstra. If you already have a Microsoft 365 plan, talk to our Telstra Apps Marketplace (TAM) support team about adding a domain to your subscription. To explore Microsoft solutions for your business, go to Microsoft 365.

Are domains hosted by Telstra renewed automatically?

When your domain is hosted by Telstra, it will auto-renew either every 12 or 24 months. If your payment details change or expire, your domain will not auto-renew.

How can I check if auto-renew is enabled for my domain hosted by Telstra?

To check if auto-renew is enabled, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Telstra Apps Marketplace
  2. Select Manage
  3. Select Account
  4. Select Application and click Domain Name
  5. Select Manage
  6. Click enable auto-renew.

When auto-renew is enabled, your domain will renew at the next renewal date.

What happens when my domain expires?

When your domain expires, your website and associated email services will be deactivated.

Can I get my domain name back after it’s expired?

Your domain name won’t be available for others to purchase until 30 days after it expires. During this grace period, you can repurchase your domain name.

To renew your domain name after it’s expired, call 1800 878 483 to talk to a member of our TAM team Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm AEST. You can also email TAM for support.
