How do I access bereavement support for Telstra Small Business?

We understand that losing a loved one is often a difficult time, so we’re here to make cancelling or transferring their Telstra business services as simple as possible.

Who can notify us?

  • The Executor, Trustee, or Administrator of the estate.
  • The deceased’s next of kin.
  • Power of attorney.
  • A lawyer or solicitor administering the will.
  • An authorised representative listed on the Telstra account.

How to notify us?

Important: If you're wanting to cancel or transfer a personal account, access Bereavement support for personal customers

Firstly, fill in the Bereavement Small Business Support form (PDF, 201.8KB) so you have all the correct information at hand. Then get in touch in one of the following ways:

Please mention 'Bereavement Support' when prompted.

Please put 'Bereavement Support' in the subject line and attach a scanned copy of the completed form.

Visit your nearest Telstra store where we'll help you fill out the form, and submit it to our specialised team on your behalf. 

Things you need to know

  • When we receive the bereavement form, we'll send you a confirmation. 

  • Bereavement Support is only available for Sole Trader customers of Telstra who have passed away, and their representatives. 

  • This service doesn’t apply to customer’s accounts that have an ACN (i.e. Pty Ltd).
