We're offering free voice calls to Vanuatu

You may have seen coverage of the devastating earthquakes in Vanuatu. Through a disaster we know how important it is to stay in touch with friends and family. That’s why we’re offering free voice calls to Vanuatu numbers from Australia.

All voice calls to Vanuatu numbers from Telstra home phones, post-paid and pre-paid mobiles in Australia will be free from 12:01AM AEDT on 19 December, 2024 until 11:59pm AEDT on 8 January 2025. See below for how to call.

Please keep in mind when making calls that telecommunications infrastructure in Vanuatu has been impacted in some places by the recent earthquakes. This means your call may not immediately go through due to damage and/or power issues.

Our own Digicel Pacific teams are on the ground working hard to restore connectivity in impacted areas when and where it is safe to do so. We’re also supporting any of our people who have been affected on the ground.

We hope this helps in a small way.
