Ensure network adaption to changing needs by leveraging multi-protocol support, customisable hardware, wavelength division multiplexing and scalable bandwidth.

How it works

The Telstra Wavelength Service works using point-to-point connectivity over a dedicated fibre connection.

What you get

  • We install a network termination unit (NTU) at each end-point, and support your infrastructure with network management links to monitor the carriage.
  • If you need extra business continuity reassurance, you can choose from three diverse dual path options, each with different levels of hardware redundancy.
  • On-premise DWDM or CWWDM is used to transmit multiple channels between sites, with protocol support for Ethernet, Fibre Channel, FICON, ESCON, and Infiniband.
  • Telstra Managed Data networks service continuously monitors your network and hardware, and proactively restores the service in the case of a fault.
