100 Million Points Comp - Terms and Conditions

The promotion starts at 9am AEST 9 April 2024. Entries close on 4pm AEST 6 May 2024 ("promotion period").

The prize allocation will be determined by a computerised random draw system. Our decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The draw will take place on 10 May 2024 at 11am AEST Draw will take place in the presence of an independent scrutineer and will be held at TPAL Level 2, 11 York St, Sydney NSW 2000.

Winners will be notified by an email within 5 business days of the draw. Winners will be published on Telstra Plus by 13 May 2024.

Entry to the promotion is open to all Australian residents who are Telstra customers, who have joined Telstra Plus and who are 18 years of age or older.  Excludes enterprise and corporate accounts.  Telstra employees who work with the Telstra Plus program and their agents, contractors and other companies associated with the promotion and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

To enter you must, during the promotion period:

• Be an existing Telstra Plus member
• Have an active Telstra account of which you are the account owner
• Receive the offer via the My Telstra app
• Enter via the My Telstra App
• Only one entry per person will be accepted.
• A customer may only join Telstra Plus once during the promotion period. If a customer leaves Telstra Plus and joins again during the promotion period, the membership will be ineligible to enter the promotion and deemed invalid to win a prize.
• We may also disqualify entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions.

The prize

One entry per Telstra Plus member will win a prize. The first 10 winners drawn will win 1,000,000 Telstra Plus points, the next 50 winners drawn will win 100,000 Telstra Plus points and the next 8,500 winners drawn will win 10,000 Telstra Plus points. The prize pool consists of 8,560 prizes.

The retail value of Telstra Plus points is not fixed and largely depends on the product redeemed using Telstra Plus Points. However as at 7 February 2024 the nominal value is as follows:

• 10 x 1,000,000 Telstra Plus points = $25,000
• 50 x 100,000 Telstra Plus points = $12,500
• 8,500 x 10,000 Telstra Plus points = $212,500

Total prize pool is $250,000 (incl. GST)

Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and are not redeemable for cash.

Telstra Plus points will be applied on relevant winner’s accounts within 14 days of when they’re notified. If you have multiple accounts with Telstra Plus memberships, points will be applied to one of your membership points’ balance at our discretion.

Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason whatsoever a winner does not redeem a prize or an element of the prize within 3 months of the end date of the promotion, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu.

If required, an unclaimed prize draw will take place on 13 August 2024, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. The draw will be attended by an independent scrutineer (if required) and will take place at 11am at TPAL Level 2, 11 York St, Sydney NSW 2000. Winners will be contacted via email within two days of the draw. Winner’s names will be published on Telstra Plus by 20 August 2024.

If you are the winner, we may contact you about the promotion, and take photos of you, and use your comments and photos for promotional and marketing purposes.  If we do so, you grant us a royalty free, perpetual and irrevocable licence to use your comments and the photos for such purposes.

We may use and disclose the information you provide in submitting an entry on the terms and for the purposes set out in our Privacy Statement, and as required to conduct this promotion, which may include disclosing that information to prize suppliers. View Privacy Statement or call 13 22 00.

If we are unable to provide a winner with a prize (or part of a prize), we will supply an alternative prize (or that part of the prize) of greater or equal monetary value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

We reserve the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and address) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process.

If there is a dispute about the identity of an entrant, the entrant will be deemed to be forfeited. 

If for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we are not able to conduct the promotion as anticipated, we may, unless to do so would be prohibited by law, disqualify any entrant, or subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, cancel, suspend, modify or terminate the promotion.

To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any loss or damage or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the promotion including the prize or the taking of the prize. We accept no responsibility for any tax liabilities that may arise from winning the prize. 

We are not liable for any prize that may be lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way after it leaves us.
