5G devices will often connect to both 4G and 5G networks and Accelerator provides a typical download speed uplift ranging from 15% to 100%, whether you are connected to 4G or 5G, for an overall faster speed experience.
If your enterprise wireless device has a battery, Accelerator will have minimal impact on your device's battery life and performance.
We recommend using Accelerator with Telstra's latest range of 5G and 4G devices with minimum LTE Category-6 (2 carrier aggregation).
Telstra has tested many current 5G and 4G mobile devices capable of LTE-Advanced technology to work best with this service. For the Accelerator add-on, we recommend the device has LTE Category-6 (2 carrier aggregation) support to ensure you can get the most out of this service. Devices not sold by Telstra may not work well with this service. Examples of popular Enterprise Wireless devices that work best with Accelerator include most Cradlepoint wide band adaptors and enterprise routers.
