Telstra Digital Business

Telstra Digital Business® combines all of your communication needs into a simple bundle. It brings together fixed lines, mobiles and broadband and gives you access to a range of useful software applications. It does this via a simple box that connects everything. What’s more, you’ll get one account, one bill and one point of contact.
What's in your bundle
Free intra-account calls
You and your staff will enjoy free voice calls in Australia between any phones listed on your Telstra Digital Business account. This includes your fixed and mobile phones.
Shared data and voice call allowances
Pooling your data and voice call allowances gives you the best chance of using it all and not letting it go to waste. This offer excludes unlimited allowances.
Broadband backup
The Telstra Next G® network has your back. If there’s ever a fixed broadband outage your data connection is automatically switched to our mobile network.
Sophisticated voicemail
Directing your voicemail to your mobile or fixed line is the smartest way to stay connected to your contacts when you can’t be in contact. Receive voicemail via email, or have SMS messages sent to your mobile phone. There’s also free MessageBank® diversion and retrieval within Australia.
Microsoft® Exchange Online
We’ve partnered with Microsoft to streamline your day-to-day business communications. You can synchronise everyone’s calendars in real time across all screens, including smart phones.
Domain registration
We’ll set up a web address specifically for your company, together with business email addresses. This customised email address will give your business the professional face it deserves.
Reliable technology and expert support
The Telstra Next G® network and our high-speed ADSL2+ broadband are the most advanced and reliable solutions available. And if anything does go wrong, we’ll provide you with expert support.
How it works
First you need a Core Plan plus equipment
Your Telstra Digital Business bundle starts with a Core Plan. This gives you a main telephone line and an internet service.
Each Core Plan comes with:
- High-speed broadband internet
- A digital fixed line service with unlimited standard voice calls to most Australian numbers (local, national and mobiles)
Each Digital Business bundle requires equipment. This includes:
- A digital phone handset
- A broadband modem/router (Wi-Fi enabled). It also comes with a couple of 'analogue' ports so you can plug in faxes / EFTPOS etc.
In most cases an additional monthly charge is added to your plan to pay for the equipment's rental. This way the equipment can be easily updated when new technologies emerge.
Next you need a User Plan
In addition to the Core Plan, you need to choose a User Plan that works best for your business. The two work hand-in-hand. There are four User Plans to choose from depending on how you and your staff work. Choose one, or a combination. It's completely up to you.
Office Plans – for those who mainly work in a fixed location
Mobile Plans – for those who mainly work on the move and need to be mobile
Unified Plans – for those who work both in the office and on the move
Mobile Broadband Plans – for those who want to share their voice and data across their business
The advanced things you get
- Ringing options – when a call comes in, your service can be set to make several phones ring all at once or in a specific order
- A static IP address
- A web domain name
- Remote working VPN software
A single Telstra Digital Business line can accommodate a maximum of three digital voice calls at the same time, whether they are calls you receive, or calls you make.
Core Plans
You can choose from three Core Plans. Each is subject to a minimum term of 24 months and comes with a monthly data allowance, which you use for both your internet access and your telephone calls. Any data you don’t use expires each month.
Each Core Plan comes with a:
- Broadband service
- Static IP address
- Digital voice service
- Domain name and a Microsoft® Email service (which you’ll get if you allow us to host your domain name)
- Remote working software (VPN)
You then add the required equipment
- Digital Phone (wired IP voice handset)
- Broadband modem router
A few other things you need to know
- A single Telstra Digital Business® line can accommodate a maximum of three digital voice calls at the same time, whether they are calls you receive, or calls you make.
- The Telstra Digital Business® modem / router can also connect most dial-up EFTPOS or fax machines for an additional monthly fee.
